1.1. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Talib Al-illm ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects Personal Information when you access or use our Platform.

1.2. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

3.1. We collect the following categories of Personal Information:

• Registration Data: Full name, email address, password, gender, preferred language(s), and role designation (e.g., Student, Teacher, College Admin, Family Admin).
• Verification Data: Scanned copies, images, or digital versions of professional qualifications, certificates, diplomas, or institutional credentials.
• Transaction Data: Billing details, purchase history, subscription preferences, and payment tokens processed via Third-Party Services.
• Communications Data: Messages, chat logs, notes, video conference transcripts, quizzes, reviews, and related user interactions.
• Device and Technical Data: Device identifiers, IP addresses, geolocation, browser metadata, access times, usage activity, and device-limit enforcement logs.
• Minor Data: Information provided by Family Admins on behalf of children (e.g., name, age, gender, learning preferences).

3.2. Information may be collected actively (via User input) or passively (via cookies, tracking tools, session monitoring, and analytics technologies).

Processing of Personal Information may occur based on one or more of the following:

• Contractual necessity (e.g., to provide requested services).
• Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., Australian child protection laws).
• Legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention, platform security, quality control).
• Explicit consent (where required, particularly for minors or Sensitive Information).

Personal Information may be processed for the following purposes:

• Verification of teacher and institutional credentials by Moderators.
• Facilitation of course enrollment, participation, and progress tracking.
• Enforcement of gender-specific access restrictions for live sessions.
• Processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling refunds via Stripe.
• Provision of support, dispute resolution, and complaint-handling mechanisms.
• Communication of administrative updates, marketing materials (where lawful), and system notifications (including class reminders and account alerts).
• Monitoring of device usage to enforce single-device logins and prevent abuse.
• Compliance with legal requests, subpoenas, or other lawful requirements.

6.1. Uploaded Content remains the intellectual property of the User. By uploading Content, you grant Talib Al-illm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display such Content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

6.2. Talib Al-illm does not warrant the accuracy, quality, or legality of Content. Liability for Content rests solely with the originating User.

6.3. Talib Al-illm moderates uploads, but Content may remain visible until reported, after which it may be reviewed, restricted, suspended, or removed.

Personal Information may be disclosed under the following circumstances:

• To Third-Party Services strictly for operational requirements (e.g., payment via Stripe; audio/video conferencing via designated providers).
• To governmental, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities, as mandated by Applicable Law.
• To Moderators or Administrators for the purpose of verifying documents, monitoring Content, or investigating complaints.
• To corporate affiliates, successors, or transferees in the event of merger, acquisition, or restructuring.

8.1. Data may be stored, processed, and transferred across multiple jurisdictions, including those with differing levels of data protection.

8.2. By continuing to use the Platform, you expressly consent to such transfers and acknowledge that Talib Al-illm cannot ensure the same level of protection as may be afforded in your home jurisdiction.

10.1. Data shall be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes set out herein or as required by Applicable Law.

10.2. Users may request deletion of their accounts; however, residual data may remain archived or backed-up for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes.

11.1. Talib Al-illm complies with Australian laws relating to minors. Direct registration by children under 13 is prohibited.

11.2. Family Admins must provide and manage all data relating to child Users. Talib Al-illm shall not be responsible for inaccurate, incomplete, or unauthorized disclosures made by Family Admins.

12.1. Talib Al-illm is a facilitator only and does not assume responsibility for:

• The accuracy, legality, or completeness of Content.
• The quality, conduct, or outcomes of teaching.
• The actions or omissions of Users.
• Compliance by Users with local religious, educational, or statutory laws.

12.2. To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, Talib Al-illm's liability shall be limited in aggregate to the total amount paid by the User to Talib Al-illm in the twelve (12) months preceding any claim.
